It was a kind of Easter workshop that we had on Tuesday in 9. B class. We made unusual activities and things related to Easter holidays. The girls were decorating Easter eggs and the boys were making whips from fresh birch branches. All we enjoyed a nice time, working together in friendly and peaceful atmosphere. The hand-made products as well as their authors - the artists form 9. B class are in the photos.
Read the pupils´s feedback about he workshop. Aurélia, 9. B: Tuesday´s English lesson was untraditional. We were decorating real hen eggs with colourful inks and crayons. The boys were making canes that have been decorated with bright colour ribbons. We were also decorating paper eggs. We enjoyed the time together.
Lukáš, 9. B: On Tuesday we were making Easter whips. We used thin birch branches that our teacher brought. The girls were decorating hen eggs by painting and drawing spring symbols on them.
I like Easter holidays because we have short Easter holidays.
I also like Easter because of Slovak culture and traditions that are really original. I regularly visit my grandmas, aunts and cousins on Easter Monday and pour a little water on them. I also whip them with a cane blessing a lot of health and beauty to them. They are pleased and I get some chocolate eggs and money.
